Welcome to Fitness Base Camp
In 2015 a group of friends, all certified trainers and accomplished athletes at the world and Olympic level needed a solution to train and track the progress of their friends, family, and clients. It first started with emails, text messages, and Whatsapp to send workouts, show exercises with correct form, and keep track of their progress. With the challenge of everyone being in different locations across the globe, they set out to develop an app as a clear, consistent, and more efficient means to overcome these challenges.
The app facilitated easy drag and drop features to allow for quick building and sharing of workouts, audio visual guided workouts, tracking trainee progress by way of charts and progress photos, and a social fitness platform to post comments and photos which allowed for a fun way to keep in touch without being confined to a face-to-face setting. This was the beginning of Fitness Base Camp, the app and the evolution of the Fitness Base Camp movement.
The journey saw friends and family of all ages from 25 countries engaging in a fitness challenge that was fun and effective. The evolution continued to offering Wellness & Fitness Retreats in Port Antonio, Jamaica which has been greatly beneficial to our trainers and participants on all aspects of wellness.
Our main goal is to get you in shape physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our workouts are designed to be easy to follow, efficient, and not keep you tied down with lengthy workouts or having to drive to a gym. We also offer a week long wellness retreat in Port Antonio, Jamaica for a more personalized experience.
